I read that even imitation dragonflies would keep mosquitos away. So I decided to give it a try since I often have mosquitos and wasps around my front door. I pushed the dragonflies' wings open and they seemed fairly real looking. I used several different colored dragonflies in some potted plants near the door. I used several more on a wreath with flowers that I made and hung on the door. The dragonflies come in a nice variety of colors so I could use contrasting colors with the blooms. The dragonflies have added some brightness to my entrance. I don't have to worry about them being in the weather since they are plastic and hold up well in rain. They seem to be keeping the mosquitos and wasps away so well, I plan to add some plants at the back door with their own dragonflies. The price for quite reasonable for the amount of dragonflies I received and I have more than enough to use in the front yard too!
