A gorgeous watch that has just enough smart features!

I am very happy with this watch. I wanted a watch with real hands, that vibrates for an alarm in the morning, gives me notifications when I receive phone calls and text messages, and either has a second hand or a stopwatch that I can reach from the main screen with as few interactions with the watch as possible. (I am a doctor and am often measuring heart rates.) Many people suggested that I just get an Apple watch and have the screen look like a regular watch, but I really don't want a smartwatch, I want a regular old watch with real hands. It's just a style thing, I guess. The two best options were this watch and the Garmin Vivomove. I bought the Garmin first, but I had to go through several layers of menus to get to the stopwatch, and the screen didn't respond easily to my presses. So I returned it. This Fossil watch is perfect. It looks like a regular watch, but in the background it also shows me the date, step count (which I don't really care about but it's there), and it vibrates for notifications and shows me a preview of them. I was able to set the buttons so one gives me a stopwatch, so with just two clicks I have a perfect second timer for measuring heart rates/respiratory rates. I had some issues with the watch not holding connection with my phone at first. I contacted Fossil support and they were very helpful at troubleshooting the problem. I'm pretty sure it's my phone's fault, because my phone is old, and when I paired the watch with a newer phone, it stayed connected. Anyway, the support team was able to fix the issue so my phone stays connected 95% of the time, which is good enough for me. Summary: this is a gorgeous watch that looks like a real watch, and also has the few smart features that I need. It's perfect for me!

Athletic Man With Style

I bought this for a Christmas gift for my son. He loves everything about this watch. I have always wanted him to buy a smartwatch but he doesn't like the look of them. This watch is perfect for the athletic man who loves designer styles!

Traditional Watch look/Great Smartwatch Features

I have had this watch for over a year now and it is my most used watch. I have 2 Fossil smartwatches because I loved this first one so much. It goes with most of my outfits (really wish Fossil did more yellow gold or two-tone with yellow gold options). I go over a week without charging, I sleep with it and even do dishes with it without any issues. I love that it gives me all the options I prioritize out of a smartwatch (notifications, alarms, fitness options) but I am not constantly distracted by it. Most people can't tell it's a smartwatch! As a fan of traditional watches, that is the best of both worlds to me. This will not replace a Fitbit in functionality (the health portion could use some improvement), and if you want to answer calls and other options, keep looking. However, for those that just want that middle point, this is an excellent option.
