The print is crisp and attractive and the design is simple and cheery. The rubbery backing keeps it from slipping around. It arrived tightly rolled and boxed (easier to wrap than you average doormat), but the curl relaxed and flattened out almost immediately in the sun. Of a little concern is the long list of care instructions, which make me think it's a little fussy for outdoor use. On the other hand, if you're using it seasonally, that shouldn't be a big issue, since it won't see too much UV action in the winter. My only worry is that the door where I'd prefer to use it has no overhang, is it's pretty exposed to the elements. Since all of the care instruction admonitions are exposure-related, I'd expect it to perform well for anyone who has a covered porch, protecting it from the elements.I'm very happy with it as-is, but I'll follow up with a downgrade my rating if it can't handle the 6-8 weeks it will be battling the elements this winter. I don't intend to abuse it, but a doormat shouldn't be too dainty to survive a couple months of weather.
