There is a lot to connecting it to your phone and laptop so that you can print from them. I'm not computer savvy at all, but it took me a long time but after I was done, it works great. I have it in my bedroom and I can print from my living room. The printer is awesome. I would highly recommend.

very satisfied with the 1410 model

I purchased 2 brother printers, the 1410 for my wife and the 1360 for me. Both print, copy and scan excellently., I would recommend paying a little more for the 1410. The touch screen display is more convenient and intuitive for use, not that the 1360 is that hard to use. Can't say enough about the print quality for photos card and document - perfect. Don't be put off by the small size. The small size is nice and means less clutter. It will print legal sized documents, but not on the glass you have to put them thru the document feeder and configure the printing appropriately. It will scan as pdfs and jpg s- which is all I've tried. However, it says it has the capability to scan documents using OCR
