beautiful but a bit more fragile than the old ones

The ends look like they're cracked (separate from the swirl that's meant to be there), but I'm pretty sure that's a byproduct of the plastic molding process from when they're made. I still feel like I've seen one of the cracks spread already and it doesn't give me good feelings about still having this in a decade without it breaking at the end and leaking eventually. My teacher in elementary school used one of these 20 years ago as a pointer to smack the whiteboard, and with this one I feel like I have to keep it from accidentally tapping anything at the ends, even lightly, or else I might break it. I definitely won't smack it on a hard surface. Otherwise it looks and feels the same as the old one when you're just holding it and spinning the glitter around. The inside is absolutely beautiful and looks exactly like the one I had as a kid and lost.
