Great alternative to pork or beef fat.

My husband was recently diagnosed with alpha gal syndrome and buying meat with flavor has been a struggle. There's only so much you can do to, or with, ground chicken and turkey. The viscosity of this is much different than olive oil or any other type of oil. It takes a lot less! The only problem is that the jar somehow seals itself after use and is super hard to reopen.

I am Stage 4 Kidney Disease. I found out I can use Duck Fat to cook things. I have used Olive oil and Coconut oil for a long time. But using Duck Fat oh my. Your tongue will thank you. It is amazing how it makes food taste. Plus I use it when I make my own bread if oil or butter is called for. Just try it. You will see what I mean. It is worth the money. Stay healthy...!
