This non-transferable limited warranty applies to MRCOOL Closed Loop Installation Kits for geothermal and hydronic systems, including the following models: Covered Models Closed Loop Installation Kit 4 Ton – Angled Manifold Closed Loop Installation Kit 4 Ton – Straight Manifold Closed Loop Installation Kit 5 Ton – Angled Manifold Closed Loop Installation Kit 5 Ton – Straight Manifold Closed Loop Installation Kit 6 Ton – Angled Manifold Closed Loop Installation Kit 6 Ton – Straight Manifold MRCOOL warrants these installation kits to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance. To the original purchaser, this warranty provides a period of five (5) years from the date of original installation for covered components. During the warranty period, MRCOOL will, at its sole option, provide replacement parts for any component found to be defective due to materials or workmanship under normal conditions of use. Replacement parts may be new or remanufactured at MRCOOL’s discretion and are warranted only for the unexpired portion of the original warranty term. Exclusions and Limitations This warranty does not apply to damage or failure caused by: Improper installation, application, or maintenance. Use with incompatible, unapproved, or modified equipment or components. Damage from freezing, corrosion, contamination, electrical failure, or excessive pressure. Acts of God, accidents, abuse, or misuse. Installation not performed in compliance with applicable codes or MRCOOL instructions. Normal wear and tear of fittings, O-rings, seals, or hoses. Labor, freight, shipping, refrigerant, or field service charges are not covered under this warranty. This warranty applies only to MRCOOL Closed Loop Installation Kits installed within the United States or Canada and does not extend to incidental or consequential damages, including property loss, downtime, or increased utility costs. Claim Procedure Warranty claims must be submitted through an authorized MRCOOL distributor or dealer and must include proof of purchase, installation date, model and serial numbers, and a description of the defect. MRCOOL reserves the right to inspect the equipment or request return of defective parts for evaluation. This limited warranty replaces all other express or implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. MRCOOL’s liability under this warranty is limited exclusively to the repair or replacement of defective components as described above.
