Color Splash!© Chenille Stems, 12" x 6mm, Assorted Colors (Pack of 1000)

We used these for a craft project in which children created a garden with silk flowers in a decorated flower pot. The chenille stems were used to add creativity to the flower gardens. Students twisted them and glued foam butterflies onto them, made them into flower shapes, etc. The pack provided a great color selection, and the stems are sturdy and nice and fuzzy. Some chenille stems are thin with little chenille on them. These were sturdy and fuzzy. The only drawback is storage. They came in a plastic bag that was not resealable once opened. A resealable bag would be very useful and helpful.

Pipe cleaner sculpture is very popular in our annual Art Day. This year, the chenille step table included pompoms, wiggle eyes, and foam shapes as well. LOTS of fun!
