The handle is held on by a long screw, but it doesnt not have a nut, although I not sure if it is suppose to? It works well, for easy cleaning and non stick, I put dough btwn 2 pieces of wax paper then press but Im sure a plastic wrap would work also. Good size, good construction, and easy to use. Can be used for many things, such as Torrilla, Pie Crust, Empanda, or Pita bread
