We love and appreciate this pasta being gluten free for our sensitive little ones. We can use these plain or in any recipe. We love Barilla gluten free pasta rotini especially making dishes for large family gatherings. Our family on both sides has a lot of gluten sensitivities and these eveeyone loves gluten free or not. It helps those who have food restrictions especially kids not feel as left out or different cause they are eating what everyone else is. So thoughtful for all the different varieties!

Acceptable GF option, minimal corn taste.

On the whole this is a fairly decent GF option. While it does have a "corn" taste, it is minimal compared to other brands. The tricky part is cooking it enough, but not over cooking it for it will become mushy and break apart. It is best used in one sitting as reheating can lead to a more mushy texture that can be off-putting. Cooks well on the stove, and in the Instant Pot type cookers. Will do a nice baked casserole provided the pasta was not over cooked prior to assembling the casserole. Cook 2 - 3 minutes less than package directions if making a baked casserole.

I am gluten free but my kids are not. I snuck in this pasta so as not to have to make two different versions for pasta dishes. They didn't notice a difference to traditional pasta. I have been using this brand of gluten free pasta for months now and my kids have never complained.
