WEAPONS (2025): Children vanish simultaneously in the middle of the night, leaving their teacher, Justine Gandy (Julia Garner), and a single student, Alex (Cary Christopher). Footage from neighborhood cameras shows the children running out of their homes in a trance, arms outstretched, but provides no explanation for their mass exodus. As the community grapples with the mystery, suspicion falls on Justine, the only common factor in the disappearances. A grieving father, Archer (Josh Brolin), a police officer with a connection to Justine (Alden Ehrenreich), and a drug addict, James (Austin Abrams), each grapple with personal struggles. Justine, battling a history of misconduct and alcohol issues, joins them in seeking answers about the children’s disappearance.
