Smoky Habanero Sauce -- In my Top 5, 2024 Finds

I'm not crazy about vinegar-based hot sauces, and most of them are. This one is NOT. It has vinegar as an ingredient, but this sauce is habanero-based. The color, I believe, is due to the ash from roasting the habanero. This sauce can be used as a hot sauce, or as an ingredient. If the former, it has quite a kick. If the later, the kick is more mellow. It has a deep, smoky taste that is quite distinct, either way it is used. I tried it with some Mexican crema in chicken fajitas -- so, so delicious. If you like smoky-flavored food, you will probably love this. As an ingredient, I'm going to experiment with veggies, stews, soups, you name it. I love this product! And, it's a decent price! Thanks Walmart for carrying it!!!

Smokey and pungent

I love this sauce, it's not the hottest habanero sauce but it tastes really good. In my opinion this is a good sauce for specific purposes because it's really pungent and you'll taste it in everything, so it's best put on certain things that go well with it instead of an all purpose hot sauce.
