CHEESY MEXICAN RICEFor food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions.You Will Need: 2 1/2 Cups Water and 1 Tablespoon ButterStove-Top Directions1. Stir uncooked Rice, Seasoning Mix, water and butter in 2-quart saucepan.2. Heat to boiling, stirring frequently. Reduce heat. Cover; simmer about 25 minutes, stirring once, until rice is tender. Remove from heat; uncover (sauce will thicken). Refrigerate leftovers.-OR-Microwave DirectionsPrepare as directed above, using 2-quart microwavable casserole dish. Cover; microwave on High 5 minutes, stirring once. Microwave on Medium (50%) 20 to 25 minutes longer, stirring once, until rice is tender. Caution: Dish will be very hot!

Great with my ground chicken taco recipe

Put ground chicken in a pan, add a tablespoon of minced garlic, sprinkle cilantro all over chicken. Mix it all together %26 cook until done. Then add a taco seasoning packet. After you cook this El Paso rice, stir it together with the ground chicken mix you just fixed. I fix this in meal prep tins, and we reheat later. Just sprinkle a few drops of water and cover with foil to reheat. 15-20 mins on 400. My son loves it and says it reminds him of chili, and he gets the calories he wants for beefing up.
