My 2 year old really prefers straws, but makes a mess with actual cups with straws and the toddler cups I've used before were hard to clean and molded quickly. There is no valve on these. It will leak if they turn it upside down and shake it, but it's fine for us. The straw can't be pulled out, which is great because thats the first thing he tries to do. He can push it down into the cup though.

These cups are super easy to wash and I like that the silicone straw doesn't crimp like the older bendable style with the kids bite on the end. I mix and match the lid colors with different bases and let my grandkids pick what colors they are “feeling” for the day.
