Bought this for a winter golf trip to Arizona I went on just before Christmas and it did its job perfectly. Protected my clubs and didn't even come close to 50 lbs, even with a full set of clubs. I do recommend wrapping your irons with any golf towels you may have if you are flying because you never know how the airline will handle your bag. If you have headcovers on your driver, woods, hybrids, and putter you got nothing to worry about with those clubs. Definitely worth the price to have this for probably the rest of my golfing days and many trips to come.
