the item came in a small box and I was very confused about that but once we open the box the area rug had a really pretty pattern it was farmhouse very soft to touch I wouldn't say it has a plush pile because mine is more of a flat carpet but it doesn't have a Shaggy carpet feeling where the hair move falls out but it's really nice and sleek.
