I use these in a three-stage undersink filter setup, without reverse osmosis (yet). The filters are priced right and fit easily. Can't comment directly on the taste because I put this water into another gravity filter, but the filters definitely pick up junk from the water. The old filters are noticeably heavier than the new ones, even after draining the water and drying them out.
