Packaging odd and item price discrepancy

I didn't like the fact the price slip inside was $20 cheaper than what I paid for it online. Same item number. Not liking that. Also, the beanbag was placed in a big box without any protective plastic bag around it. We had to take it out of the box to get it inside the back of a pickup bed. I like the beanbag since it matched the one my husband purchased a few months ago. But why the price difference? If I remember right, when we purchased the previous one, it was quite a bit cheaper. Hmmm.
