Bloem Amelia 18" Plastic Window Box Planter - Indoor/Outdoor, Fluted Texture, for Windowsills, Garden & Patio, Basil

This is a really nice planter for the price ! It is deep enough to hold either flowers or smaller herbs. I am going to plant oregano in mine. What i really like is that is has a base in the bottom that holds water, so the water will fill up in the base and can seep back up to keep the plants watered,. The whole bottom can come off if needed. The picture I am including shows the water storage base at the bottom of the planter.

This IS a very nice planter to have. I chose the dusty rose/pink color, and it has a very pleasant appearance with the patterned facade. I plan to use this for flowers in the spring and will likely place it on the front porch to add alure for company and passersby through the summer. With this being movable enough to take it indoors during the winter. So I can grow more delicate perennials that won't survive the cold seasons here. This planter is quite a bit deeper than others I've seen. It's right at 7" tall and 6.5" deep growing space without counting the water tray. So, it definitely has the depth to accommodate a wide assortment of plants. It has a large enough space to grow an assortment of herbs or flowers. The water tray on the bottom is removable but does require some effort. So it won't just fall off, but it can be taken off for cleaning purposes or whatnot. Which is a nice feature. Overall, Bloem planters feel quite durable, and this one is no exception. It has a large lip that feels nice for holding if I need to move it around. Since it can get fairly heavy when full of dirt, I have less fear dropping this one than others I have. It's sturdy, and the manufacturing quality is noticeably very high. This is definitely meant to be adored for years to come.
