The quality of the finish far surpasses the thin coating on the old swing. With sturdier wood slats and heavy-duty chains, it's wider and feels like it will last much longer. You really do get what you pay for, and this swing is absolutely worth the investment. Assembly was quick and easy, and the overall quality is excellent. Even though it's hard to buy something without seeing it in person, this swing exceeded all my expectations!
