It's battery operated and I only need to charge battery once a month, it comes with a charger. Purchased two of these cameras last year and just recently bought another one to add to my collection. Very sensitive picks up on every movement and noise. Can set graph to what areas you want monitored. I have had this camera for over a year, winter and hot summers no issues! This takes up to a 128gb SD card just make sure it's for all temperatures. Also you can use the cloud if you prefer... comes with an antenna and very strong Wi-Fi signal my camera is on the other end of the house from router and still never loses signal. You can also purchase solar panels for these cameras which is really handy. Seller is excellent to deal with it only took two days for shipping. I highly recommended this camera and seller!
