I put this shed together with my wife over the course of one week, 2 hours per day right after coming from work. If you put your mind to it and have the whole weekend dedicated to the build, then it will take 8 hours or so to finish the work. For the piece of mind, we silicone the skylights and the front windows. It rained a lot here in Toronto before the Thanksgiving holiday, and not a drop of water inside the unit. For anybody buying this product, keep in mind that other than the quality of the unit, you will receive support from the Lifetime team. Our support came in the delivery of the snow kit, which is a must to install in all the winter areas. Looking forward to receiving and installing the snowload kit before the snow comes to Toronto this winter. To the engineers and marketing team at Lifetime, a couple of suggestions: 1. Do not ship these units to US northern states and Canada without the snow kit. 2. Include more 1"x1"x1/16" angles to reinforce the walls, especially the back wall, in the area of the truss support. I believe, customers would not mind paying a bit of money for having, in the end, a long lasting product.

We've had our shed for over eight years and it sits in direct CA sun. It has held up well and only slightly faded on the roof. Our summers are brutal but this shed still looks beautiful. We noticed that the top mini skylights had separated or shrunk so there's a gap for water to get in. I used the chat button on the site and to my absolute surprise replacement parts for the skylights are on their way! I'm so grateful we chose Lifetime for our storage unit. A super product and a super company. You can't go wrong here, buy with confidence!!!
