Handy to have on hand!
FTG USA Countersink Drill Bit #8 (11/64) HSS Tapered Drill Bit Countersink is a handy bit to have! My husband attached his to his power screwdriver for use when assembling an end table. He used it drill the hole then screws would sink knot on top so we could putty over the screws. This allowed us to firmly attach the top piece with no screws showing! FTG USA Countersink Drill Bit #8 (11/64) HSS Tapered Drill Bit Countersink Is a handy bit for woodworking projects!

Solid features
Makes a starter hole for the screw and then cuts an indent so the screw is flush (countersink, I guess they call it). Adjustable depth so it can be used to help prevent wood splitting while driving the screw.
