Easy to use, versatile

Very easy to use, includes 2 generous rolls of "laminating film", a cheap pair of plastic scissors (which I didn't use), and a smoother/scraper (which I did use). I covered some pages of a cookbook to protect them from spills. The vinyl film went on smoothly and the scraper took care of any bubbles. The grid printed on the backing paper makes it easy to cut the film to size and to line up things. The only problem I had was that the box containing the kit was put into a paper envelope and the box was smushed with the contents spilled out into the envelope. Fortunately, nothing was damaged other than the box but it is now useless for storing the rolls and accessories. Overall, I'm very pleased and would recommend this for anyone needing to protect paper things (like book pages or covers) or for craft projects. I can see lots of uses for this vinyl laminating film.

Protect your loving memories

I got this to preserve a newspaper article about my Dad and his rose garden. It's full page and multiple pages. I've been looking for ways to preserve it but most laminating sheets were too small without cutting the article up in small pieces. I tried this on a remembrance card for my Mom and it turned out great. There is a cutting grid on the back that shows you where to cut. You simply cut and peel the backing off and adhere to your item. It comes with a pair of retractor scissors and a small scraper to get out any bubbles. I cut off the excess and it was done. I'm looking forward to using this on a lot of heirloom pieces I want to preserve. This would work for small jobs and large ones. You can use for writing and erasing on pages you laminate like flash cards for young kids to learn math or spelling. The uses are unlimited.
