Very pretty, decorative even when not in use

This matcha set is very pretty. I love the soft pink color and the sakura design. The scoop rest is a pink ceramic cherry blossom. Everything seems of good quality. The packaging was fantastic: thick foam fitted to each piece of the set, especially the bowl and whisk holder. All of the items in the set arrived in great condition: no scratches or chips on the ceramics and the bamboo scoop and whisk were not broken. The box is sturdy and pretty enough that I may find a use for it rather than tossing it out. This would make a great gift for someone who likes tea ceremonies (or just loves matcha). Exactly as described, well packaged, shipped promptly. Nothing was damaged during shipping. Very pleased with my purchase.
