Kwikset 730MALRCT-15 Mirada Privacy Door Lever Set - Nickel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to be included in this campaign as I had started replacing my internal locks with a set from Schlage that was very similar to this style. I wanted a lock with more security than a traditional internal lock, so this was a great option for my bedroom converted into a closet. I often go out of town and I wanted the ability to secure my closet area and tuck away any valuables etc. This was a great solution. At first I thought the lock wasn't going to work / was more complicated than the other series, then I realized it's actually the opposite, it's a really flexible solution. Almost all of the parts can be customized to fit your door setup, that's an ongoing problem that can make swapping locks a huge P.I.T.A. Once I realized each part could adjust to fit the proper height / width/ depth, it was easy from there. The lock feels solid and i love the ridges on the handle. The series I have on my other doors from Schlage has the same square base and squared off handles; this rounded + ridged handle is a fun change in my special room. I love it!
