Rod Desyne Heavy Duty Traverse Rod - Center Open 66-120 inch - White

An excellant travis rod, works from either end, easy to install. I purchased it to replace one that was 20 plus year old. This one seem to be mor rugged built than the the one I replaced.

After 30 years, we needed to replace some of our sliding drapery rods (including the plastic "sliders" that the pin-fold draperies attach to in order to make them slide). The directions are pretty straight forward (photos included); however, make sure you have plenty of light when installing or a pair of magnifying lenses to read the instructions (print is small). There are plenty of "sliders" included, and the close is a tight one. The drawstring is a little cumbersome, but we took the little pulley off of the end and made two individual drawstrings (put one knot in the "open" string and two knots on the "close" string) - works fine, and the sound of the rod opening and closing the drapes sounds like the old fashion roller coasters when they climbing a steep incline! Works great - highly recommend the product.
