Ourmed has not exaggerated in its claims of these being thicker and heavier. I tested the first one by trying to open it up enough for use but it was too stuck together when dry. I think that if you are hot, sweaty and grimy and you pull out one of these dry it will open up quickly as you use it to sponge off the sweat and grime. I dampened one and used it as I would use a wash cloth to wipe off all the dirt, soap scum and greasy residues in my kitchen sink. It worked very well and was thick enough to turn over many times before it was all dirty. Finally, I added a bit of soap and hot water and rinsed it like you would rinse any wash cloth. It was so strong I had to use a man's strength to tear it on purpose. I'm drying it now and I expect to be able to use it again as a disposable wash cloth. 99 more to go! These are going to be real convenient for unexpected messes in your car or purse or backpack or bike bag. One of these has the capacity to mop up a spilled drink on your car mat or vinyl seats or in the trunk, or at least get started on the cleanup before it soaks in and dries on the road. Would also work on blood or vomit and mothers will always find needs for this product. These compressed rags have come a long way in quality in the last 20 years. They can be composted or burned in a camp fire.

I am truly impressed with the quality of these disposable washcloths. They are large and thick. Super soft! I would say they could be used a couple times as well. I'm planning to send these with my kids to summer camp so they'll have clean washcloths without worrying about keeping up with traditional kind. I definitely recommend!
