Is is very easy to apply, gives good coverage, depending on the material you're working on, you'll have to do more than one coat. It drys quickly but again depends on the material and coats you have applied. I can say I'm very impressed by the quality of the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Varathane Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner is top quality and great for conditioning wood for solid even coverage to stain. Works great with multiple stain colors too. I wait about 30 minutes for the wood to fully dry and the wood conditioner to completely penetrate before staining. Zero odor problems with this pre-stain conditioner and it helps save time for staining by allowing even coverage for staining.
