My purchase of the EcoFlow River 2 was based on my requirements to add an inverter to an exciting solar setup I currently have in my truck camper. The major use for the inverter was to be able to charge various 12 -18 volt batteries while "off grid". The EcoFlow River 2 has met all my expectations. It is a space save, I was able to eliminate the 650 AH AGM battery and the 40 AMP Solar Controller. Added an XT60 connector to my existing distribution box and used the furnished 12V - XT60 cable. The charge times were tested from mains power and 100W solar panel, charge times were as published. Now I have a lightweight portable power generator that now will get more use. The price point was also something that was considered with my purchase.

I bought this a few weeks ago and use it camping. It is a great power source for blowing up air mattresses and for heating up water for coffee. I also wanted it as a backup for the fan behind my wood stove in the winter if the power goes out. I really like how much power it has for something so light and portable.

Excellent addition to the EcoFlow Command Center. Perfect for lamps that run less than 5 watts,this COD runs 1watt so won't be in total darkness in case the grid goes down and should last almost a full two weeks on one charge,as long as we don't charge other items on it.
