Great Smoky Flavor

This is a good, smokey seasoning that would be great to add to any chicken or fish dish. I added to my own salmon dish and it was really good, with great flavor and lots of smokiness. I'll definitely buy this. This was sent to me in return for an honest review.

Easy to use and Tasty

If you're smoking tri tip and want to keep things simple but flavorful, McCormick's Applewood Rub is a solid go-to. It is sweet-and-smoky - think brown sugar meets a applewood smokiness. I rubbed it on generously and let it sit for 30 minutes. After a couple hours of smoking, there was a nice, flavorful crust. It was delicious addition on the tri tip, and I think it is versatile enough for pork or chicken too. Forewarning: it's a bit salty, so maybe ease up if you're pairing it with salty sides. This rub was easy to use and tasty. While it's not a gourmet seasoning, it is dependable for big flavor. I received this product in exchange for an honest review.
