Too small for U.S. standard sewing machines

Unfortunately, this bag is too small for U.S. standard sewing machines. I was going to use it for my standard size Brother brand machine but it is not tall enough. The machine won't fit all the way in and it won't zip. The fit is ok side to side. I would like it to have had a little more padding to protect from bumps and dings, but could live with that aspect of the bag. It actually seems decently made - it's just too small for a sewing machine. Disappointing. :(
