Expert Gardener Organic Garden Soil with Earthworm Castings, Peat-Free, Feeds up to 3 Months, 1.5 cu ft

It's surprisingly good. I was expecting a bag of just mostly composted wood chips and some coir but it's actually healthy and soft. Not just moist but has real humus. You can also tell there's a decent amount of work castings, as sometimes companies claim it on the bag and you can't tell from seeing it. You can definitely tell it's there in this product. It's a quality mix and I will 100% buy more of this. I bought 8 of these and 8 of the Raised Bed version to compare in each setting and they're genuinely different products. I think I'll order another 8. I would've ordered more but that's the online delivery limit per type. I highly recommend this product so far exactly as advertised, as a topsoil dressing only. I would NOT RECOMMEND using this in a RAISED BED. It's PERFECT for in-ground planting as it's genuine topsoil and works as living mulch and would suffocate a plant in a container. Use it to top dress your garden subsoil heavily, like top 3 inches.

I bought both organic and regular garden soil to help fill in a new flower bed. Immediately I could tell the organic soil included way more nutrients and fine soil than the regular, and it was richer in black color too! The regular appears to include more bark fines. I will always order organic now that Walmart offers it! Saves a lot of money compared to the local nursery organic soils. (Associate review)
