Tomesode is the most formal, high class Kimono for all ceremonies and occasions. Black ones are worn by married women and colored ones are worn by both married and unmarried women. Distinct characteristics of Tomesode are family crests and surrounding patterns around the hem. Numbers of family crests specify formality and rank.
Please keep in mind that female Kimonos are supposed to fit longer. You will need to adjust the fit to your size with Kitsuke accessories and Obi belt.
