Spacing between joists should be 24 inches or less (commonly 12", 16", or 24").
Joists must be in good condition, free from damage or weaknesses that could reduce strength.
The installation location must be structurally sound, with no issues like rot or damage that could cause failure.
Use a 3/16-inch diameter, 3-inch-long drill bit to create pilot holes for anchoring
