I bought this replace another one that broke. I was very disappointed in this one. It is extremely loud. The shredder blade has both a slicer and shredder on the same blade so it slices and then shreds. I shredded Parmesan cheese and it came out extremely uneven, large pieces, and small pieces. I do not recommend this appliance.
