These highly conformable dressings are suitable for wounds with light to moderate exudate. They are distinguished by perforated, soft silicone gel adhesive which, while quite effective, minimizes pain and trauma to wounds and skin upon removal. The dressing may be lifted and repositioned without losing its adherent properties. Breathable, yet moisture- and bacteria-resistant outer film layer seals the wound margins. The absorbent inner hydrocellular foam pad maintains a moist wound environment to help promote healing. McKesson silicone foam dressings are a particularly good choice when fragile skin is a concern.
