The hood is quite large, and is made of the same material as the body of the robe.This, combined with the over large body of the robe (i could have downsized two sizes and im 5'5' and 165 lbs!). I currently work at Walmart and I've never seen a robe with a hood and I love that I can have the option to be a little warmer on the colder days and it's full length so your whole body is covered to be extra warm I got an XL but I could've gotten a L and then it probably wouldn't be so long or even a M. I'm 5'2 if that helps because I usually get a bigger size so it would be longer but with this one you don't have to worry about that it's definitely full length 😁 like a big blanket.
