These connectors are very easy to use, saved me from having to replace my very expensive hose! Other connectors I've used in the past required a hair dryer to soften the hose before I could get the connector to fit, and then sometimes they'd slip out of the hose. These are "slip proof" with their ribbed design.

The clamps for connecting are not of good quality because the bolt/screw threads that grab and turn into clamps perforated holes aren't cut right or deep enough to engage to hold strong enough without stripping connections in just attempting to secure enough to prevent water leakage. 50% didn't work as designed to work for intended purposes and 50% had to be just verily tighten instead of being able to torque to required tighten strength to properly do repairs to hoses. Clamps need to be stronger and of higher quality manufactured design and then packaged product will be of good quality

The splice tube is perfect. No complaints with it. However, the hose clamps included are junk. Would not tighten enough to stop leak without stripping out the gear and falling apart. I had to use my own Automotive clamps.
