Surprisingly good...

I'm obsessed with French onion soup, so trust me when I say most canned and grocery store versions are… crimes. This one from Marketplace actually surprised me. It's not full restaurant quality, but it sits perfectly in-between canned and a legit bistro bowl. The only thing it's really missing is that little wine-y undertone you get from a proper restaurant version. But honestly? The flavor is still really good, the cheese melts beautifully, and if you let the croutons soak in the broth for a few minutes before digging in, game changer. For the price, I'll absolutely buy it again. Super cozy, easy, and way better than it has any right to be.

I am so excited this French onion soup is available at Walmart now. Rarely have I come across restaurants that serve authentic French onion soup like the restaurant located in Famous Barr's mall locations. The taste, appearance %26 price can't be beat.

Surprised by how good this is.

I did not use the bowl the soup came with. This soup tastes as good as, or even better than, restaurants and I am definitely making it a regular purchase. I got sidetracked when the microwave beeped and it sat for about twenty minutes so I reheated it for about another thirty to forty seconds and It was still delicious. The croutons completely covered the soup and the cheese on top of the croutons melted really nice.
