Standardized product
I'm still experimenting with standardized 'extract' herbs vs. 'whole' herbs in capsules. Generally speaking I prefer stdzd for consistency of impact, like this product. I believe this bilberry is doing what it says it will do though it is hard to measure results.I have found that using 'whole' herbs works fine for certain applications like Swansons Turmeric or Now's Valerian Root. In fact I found the whole valerian root capsule to be measurably mentally more beneficial than the stdzd [from Natures Way no less]. Hope this is helpful to some of you.
