Yummy! I didn't know I could like rice this much. The riceberry rice has a sweet and nutty flavor, and it's packed full of fiber. Low glycemic, which is a big plus. So far I've only cooked and served it plain with a little butter mixed in, but I'm looking into making some more interesting savory dishes with it. Perhaps mixing it in with wild rice, bayberries and almond slivers. This rice is remarkably delicious! I only wish I had discovered it sooner :)

A great pantry staple.

After watching a youtube discussing this rice as a healthier alternative to white rice and tastes better than brown rice... I thought I would give it a try. I'm glad I did.. it tastes great and due to the higher fiber than white rice it makes you feel full longer. As a side dish to general Tso Chicken it was really good... As a healthier desert I made a coconut milk rice pudding... I used less sugar than I would have with a white rice and it was sweet enough due to it's natural lightly sweet %26 nutty taste and curbed my appetite to want to snack more. As for price.. yes it is a bit pricey... but it pays back in a fuller feeling when eating it.
