I've been using the Proactiv Redness Correcting Treatment for a few weeks now, and I'm honestly surprised at how much it's helped. My skin is usually really reactive and any little thing makes it flush or get splotchy, but this actually calms it down instead of irritating it more. The texture is lightweight, kind of like a gel-cream, and it sinks in quickly without feeling greasy. I didn't see a huge difference overnight, but after about a week the redness around my cheeks and chin looked more even, and my skin didn't feel as hot or inflamed during the day. Makeup goes on smoother too because the redness isn't shining through as much. It's not a miracle product, but it definitely does what it claims if you use it consistently. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it and will keep it in my routine.

This product is very intense when applied directly to a pimple — it really "sits" on the spot and you can feel it working. But it definitely needs enough time to dry. If you go to bed too soon, it can leave marks on your pillow, and sometimes it flakes or rolls off the skin. It does help calm and shrink a pimple a little, but I was told it would completely get rid of it overnight, and for me it didn't work that perfectly. Overall, it's strong, but you need patience with the drying time and the texture.
