Brazil Canaan Estate - Roasted by Middle Fork Roasters - Freshly Ground Coffee - 2lb Bag

I really like this coffee. It is the right level of roasty for me and has a flavor that is distinctly coffee but not boring or bland. I tend to like coffee-flavored coffee that isn't too complicated but also not super generic. This is a great example of that. I have tried it black and with cream (how I typically prefer my coffee) and both are good . Sometimes adding another variable to a coffee ruins the flavor so I'm glad that this isn't the case. I ordered this with a gift card and I was cautious about Bean Box to be honest, but I'm very happy with it. I may subscribe in the future because it's fun to try all sorts of coffee.

I tried this coffee and I've got to say, I really enjoyed the rich flavor that came from the brew. I use a french press and heated the filtered water (per beanbox instructions) to 200F and ground the beans to a nice semi-fine grind. It was flavorful and had just a hint of chocolate.
