Galapagos Bioactive Mix is the perfect blend of: Tree Fern, Fir Bark, Tropicoco Soil, Sphagnum Moss, and Charcoal . This substrate creates the ideal soil with the optimal balance of drainage and moisture retention for tropical plants to thrive and grow. Great for bioactive terrariums, live plant terrariums, or even tropical house plants. Moisture retention and drainage balance. Perfect blend of natural materials. Ideal soil.

Instructions
Pre-mix your bag of Bioactive Soil in a separate container before adding the substrate to your terrarium. Moisten the Bioactive Soil with water and mix again. The soil should clump and hold shape when squeezed in your hand, and the substrate should not be oversaturated or watery. Once you have achieved your desired consistency, add the Bioactive Soil mix to your terrarium. If you are using a terrarium with a false bottom, make sure the water level in the bottom never rises past your substrate barrier. This will cause your Bioactive Soil to become oversaturated and create unhealthy conditions for your plants and animals.
