For context, I typically wear a size 10 (women's or 9-9.5 men's) and I frequently wear a 10 wide. My feet measure 10 inches long and 3.5 inches wide. I ordered a size 10 in the white and absolutely LOVED them. They are so comfortable and really cute. However, they were quite a bit too big for me. So, I decided to keep the 10s for around the house and ordered a size 9 in black. The 9s fit PERFECTLY but they aren't quite as cute as the white pair... but they're still pretty cute and every bit as comfortable. They are perfectly advertised in the photos. These flip flops look exactly the same in person as they do in the pictures. I always loved the chunky, platform-style, 90s shoes. Even though these aren't exactly as high as I'd personally like... they're super cute and unbelievably comfy! They cradle the foot without giving the appearance of orthopedic, old-lady sandals. The material is a lightweight foam that doesn't LOOK (or feel) like cheap foam. It's very much like walking on extremely firm memory foam. I don't notice any problems with sweat or that sticky, tacky feeling which commonly accompanies foam sandals. The thong/toe loop is thick but not uncomfortably thick, in my opinion. I'm used to very thin flip flops so I assumed I would need to get used to these. I was wrong. I can't remember the last time I bought any shoes that were this comfortable right out of the box! *OVERALL* I would absolutely recommend these. I would also recommend sizing down. (Even if you're the type to typically size down when buying flip flops... since they always stretch, anyway... I'd still suggest considering a slightly smaller size that that.) They're extremely comfortable and ideal for anyone with large or wide feet. For those who can remember the Spice Girls... these are totally something that Sporty, Posh, and Baby Spice would've worn. Ha Ha Ha! They also have a fair amount of tread on the bottom. So, even someone as clumsy as myself won't be falling on my face every time there's a few raindrops on the pavement or whatever. If you're looking for a new pair of flops that are comfortable and cute... these are absolutely worth buying. I'm probably going to get a 3rd pair.
