Better than Great Value for this item

I chose Lucky Leaf for my apple cobbler recipe to save on the cost of this item. I was expecting to have to "settle" for what I got. I was quite surprised when the can was jam packed (no pun intended) with apple slices and very little filling. In the past Great Value Apple Filling was about 50% filling and 50% apples. The Lucky Leaf is about 10% filling and 90% apples. This is what I needed for my recipe and it turned out great.

One of the best pie fillings - Lucky Leaf apple pie filling in a can. Cut up pound cake and add apples on top. It goes fast. Might want to get two cans.

This is hands-down the best canned apple (and they also make a cherry) pie filling I've ever eaten! I grew up picking apples then creating pies. Nothing is as good nor as healthy as this product.
