The pants aren't heavy like some plus size pants can feel, and they are just thick enough to not see thru and still be cool. They've only been through one wash so far and had no fading or bleeding. Can't speak to quality/longetivity since just the one wash, but so far so great. Wish they had more color selection - I'm ordering a second pair!
