I wanted something different from a regular tv stand. So I opted for this. Best decision I could have made. The compliments I have gotten about it is crazy. This allows for an open space and the stand makes it easy to reposition the tv however I like.

Used for a 55" TV in an indoor workout room. Assembly was easy and straightforward. It's sturdy and doesn't wobble with the 55" TV on it. The pivot function is nice, although I wish it had a tilt function, but I knew that when I bought it. Overall, it's a reasonable price for a well-made stand that does exactly as advertised.
