Very Nice Superzoom Lens

Pros: Purchased for my sister to use on a Canon SL1 as a travel lens and when changing lenses would be inconvenient. It appears to be very well made. Immediately tested on the side of a house to check for distortion. There was slight distortion at 18mm and 270mm which was easily corrected in Lightroom with just a '-01' adjustment. There was no distortion at 25mm and 250mm. Cons: No complaints after initial testing and used one day at a horse racing track. Other thoughts: This is going to be a fun outfit when used with the tiny Canon SL1 DSLR camera. Some people will criticize such a combination and admittedly, it is a fairly expensive paring. You get a great superzoom camera without the hated shutter lag. That is really nice for those individuals that shoot outside action events. I use a gripped 50D and four Canon 'L' lenses for everyday photography. No interest in recording movies and not tested as such.

Great quality -Light weight

Pros: Great price, Compact Design, Easy To Use, Improves Picture Quality Cons: Slips when not horizontal Other thoughts: Slight slippage when camera is point up or down and causes picture to be out of focus. When I use the lens for birding I will see the extent of the problem.

Good lens at a great price

Pros: Fast / accurate auto-focus, Easily Interchangeable, Durable, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Consistent Output Cons: Other thoughts: Quality lens at a good price point. Use one at work liked it so much bought one for personal use for my wife. Can carry one lens for multiple situations from landscape to close up. No problems with it yet, good lens for photography enthusiasts.
